DLC SUPVA Celebrates Teachers’ Day with Enthusiasm and Gratitude
The Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), Rohtak,
celebrated Teachers’ Day with great fervor and heartfelt gratitude, honoring the invaluable
contributions of its faculty members.
The day-long festivities were marked by a vibrant line-up of cultural performances by the
students, including songs, dances, and mimicry acts, which added color and joy to the
occasion. A unique highlight of the event was the participation of teachers themselves, who
were invited to perform on stage, adding warmth and spontaneity to the celebration. As a
token of love and appreciation, students presented thoughtful gifts to their teachers,
symbolizing their respect and affection.
The event was attended by all faculty members, staff, and students, creating an atmosphere
of unity and celebration. Speaking on the occasion, Dean Academic Affairs, Dr. Ajay Kaushik,
said, “Teachers’ Day is not just about honoring educators, but also about reaffirming the
bond of trust, respect, and inspiration between teachers and students. At DLC SUPVA, we
believe that learning is a two-way process, and today’s celebrations are a beautiful reminder
of the joy that this relationship brings.”
Echoing the sentiment, Registrar, Dr. Gunjan Malik, remarked, “It is deeply moving to see
the affection and creativity of our students reflected in today’s celebrations. Teachers are
guides, mentors, and lifelong companions in the journey of knowledge. This day reminds us
that our greatest reward as educators is the success, respect, and gratitude of our
students.”
The celebrations concluded on a warm and joyous note, leaving behind cherished memories
and strengthening the spirit of camaraderie and respect within the university community.
